DC Medicaid, and the Medicaid Health Plans, offer a comprehensive range of pediatric dental services, encompassing regular cleanings, check-ups, fluoride applications, dental sealants, fillings, crowns, extractions, and other essential treatments. DC Medicaid recipients are not required to pay copayments and premiums for children’s dental healthcare, facilitating easy access to necessary dental care for children.

Orthodontic Medicaid Benefits
DC Medicaid does cover orthodontic expenses for children diagnosed with malocclusion issues such as overbite, underbite, crossbite, or severe crowding. Following an orthodontic assessment, we will determine if DC Medicaid covers the treatment and handle the entire approval process.
Vision Medicaid Benefits for Children
Children and young adults aged 21 and under, who are beneficiaries of DC Medicaid, are afforded coverage for pediatric vision care. This coverage includes routine annual comprehensive eye exams and prescription eyeglasses for children requiring vision correction.
