Why did you become a dentist?
My grandmother-in-law was the first female dentist to graduate from University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Before becoming a dentist, I worked as a Child Life Specialist at Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. While working at Children’s Hospital, I discovered my passion for helping children overcome challenging situations and helping them manage their pain. My grandmother-in-law inspired me to use my talents in this area to pursue a career in dentistry.
