I went to University of Karachi, Pakistan and earned my Bachelor of Dental surgery (BDS) degree in 2012. In 2023, I earned my Doctor of medicine in dentistry (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental medicine, Boston MA.
Why did you become a dentist?
I come from a family of doctors, and naturally my exposure and inclination to the healthcare profession started at an early age. I chose to become a dentist because I wanted a career that can offer the work-life balance I was looking for, and that lead me to fall in love with the work that will give me a chance of using my surgical hand skills as well as the the spirit of an artist inside me, as it is rightly called “the art and science of dentistry”.
Interesting Facts
I’ve lived in three different parts of the world, been a part of different communities and I speak 4 languages. I love to read, do arts and crafts, cook, listen to music and enjoy organizing and creativity. I’m married to an amazing husband and a beautiful little girl calls me mommy. I love meeting new people and always look forward to having a good time with my family and friends. Flowers, fairy lights and scented candles are some of my favorite things.
