Why did you become a dentist?
My grandmother-in-law was the first female dentist to graduate from University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Before becoming a dentist, I worked as a Child Life Specialist at Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. While working at Children’s Hospital, I discovered my passion for helping children overcome challenging situations and helping them manage their pain. My grandmother-in-law inspired me to use my talents in this area to pursue a career in dentistry.
Interesting Facts
I enjoy rock climbing and skiing. We enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible. I am a Colorado native. I grew up in Commerce City and attended Adams City High School. Both of my parents and all of my aunts and uncles also went to Adams City High school.
